Beautiful Mount Kinabalu (4,095 metres high) at dawn, viewed from Kota Kinabalu. More info from Wikipedia on Mount Kinabalu here.
Quote from Wikipedia here...
Significantly, Mount Kinabalu is well-known worldwide for its tremendous botanical and biological species biodiversity, with high levels of endemism (i.e. species which are found only within Kinabalu Park and are not found anywhere else in the world). As examples, it has one of the world’s richest orchid flora with over 800 species.......WOW! I purposely bold and enlarged that 800 species....awesome!!!
Another view of the mountain from Nabalu, halfway up the Kinabalu National Park.
Another view taken from the plane.
Kota Kinabalu City, a sea front city, facing the South China Sea. Its beautiful and clear water beaches are very popular with tourists.
Dried salted fish anyone? Another popular spot to visit if you lurve salted fish :) - the Filipino Market along the waterfront.
