Dendrobium parthenium

Never known that this orchid existed until we found this D. parthenium by chance during one of our trips to Sabah many years ago. Turn out to be endemic to this particular hill in Sabah eastern coast.
When found, this plant was attached to a large rotting fallen tree trunk halfway down the slope.
It seems to be dying at that time.
Took it back and here it is - very well conserved and protected.
The flower is very lasting - at least 3 weeks.
