Saturday, July 4, 2009 | Posted in

Our Dimorphorcis lowii plant is still young. About 1.5ft long attached to a palm tree, next to the fish pond. Dimorphorchis lowii is a species native to Borneo. It requires heavy rainfall and high humidity and can be found growing on trees as well as limestone cliffs.
The flowers are stunning with colors of yellow, deep red and cream. The upper flower is yellow in color while the lower flowers are deep red (spotted) on creamy yellow background.

This will last for a couple of weeks.
